He’s eager to welcome you to Falmouth Dentistry, but first, you can learn more about him below.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Campbell’s dental journey started when he was a senior in high school. He shadowed a local dentist as part of a career exploration program, and he found that it really caught his interest. He liked the idea of being able to not only serve individuals and improve their lives through dentistry, but also take care of the community where he grew up.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Because he started in the dental field at a young age, Dr. Campbell has been in several different roles, including being a dental assistant and front office staff. During his time in dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, he completed a concentration in prosthodontics, which included additional studies on advanced treatments as well as working alongside prosthodontists on complex cases.
Throughout his career, he has traveled through the United States and abroad providing dental care to the underserved, most recently to Cookeville, TN. To make sure his knowledge and skills stay up to date, he is an active member of the American Dental Association and Maine Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Campbell grew up in Gorham with his parents and brother living right around the corner from his grandparents. His brother and parents are still local--his mother works as an elementary school teacher, and his father is a retired teacher.
In the summer, you’ll often find him camping in Windham, kayaking, or paddle boarding. He was on the alpine ski racing team in high school, and he still enjoys skiing along the Sunday River in the winter. Back at home, he’s usually working through a book, planning game nights, or cooking for friends and family.
